Taskerr is a freelance job platform with a mission of providing job opportunities from cat sitting to stacking firewood, allowing users to earn some extra money
Taskerr is a Young Enterprise business from Central Hawkes Bay College. Taskerr will provide the ability for people such as young students or stay at home parents, to connect with short term/freelance job opportunities that fit around their schedule, whether thas mowing the lawn, cat sitting or just stacking firewood. On the other hand, people such as the elderly, who may not be able to do these jobs themselves are able to find people to help in no time. Taskerr is designed to solve the problem of the lack of traditional jobs and the rising unemployment, particularly in rural communities where there are less opportunities available. It solves this problem by providing a place to find short term/freelance job opportunities in peoples local communities, which do not require long term commitment like traditional jobs, encouraging more people to offer work, particularly in an uncertain economy. Therefore, providing a unique value proposition to other traditional job platforms that only provides a place to find part time and full time work. Taskerr will be an app where work providers are able to add jobs on, which will be moderated before it is presented to people, who may want to earn some extra cash from doing the odd job. A notification will also appear whenever a new job has been posted. Therefore, keeping people informed of all things that are happening without having to constantly check the app.

Mission: Our mission is to provide a platform for those in the local community to find short term employment opportunities for those in need of some extra money.
